A common task in Excel is to keep track of employees working hours.

Above we have a list of employees and some time-stamps.
Follow the below steps:
- First we calculate the time between IN and OUT
- =E2-B2
- Next we calculate the duration of the lunch
- =D2-C2
- Finally put these two together
- =((E2-B2)-(D2-C2))
- One important thing to remember here is that I don’t change formatting, it is Custom.
