Sometimes we need to find out the most occurred value or number. There is a useful function we can use for this, the MODE function.

This function is used to find the most frequently occurred value. We need to keep in mind that this function only works with numbers.

Above we have a list of values in column B, in D6 we show the most occurred value, in this case number 5 (as we can eaasily spot without a formula).

In D6, enter the below formula:

=MODE(B5:B15)

This one is simple, we just supply the range to the formula, and we get the most frequently occurred value.
